For  the memory of Biga Flag Officer Osman Bey, the 4th Biga Archery Contest was done with

 great  enthusiasm.

                      With the participation of 129 foreigners from 21 countries and 427 Turkish sportsmen from 29

 clubs, contests showed us that our town is the world mark in this area. In our country there isn’t an organization

 in this size as well as it is in the world.

                      I thank to all friends who laboured. I want to start to thank with İÇDAŞ, the main sponsor.  I present my thanks to dear Bülent ENGİN was put up with a lot of troubles of us, and all İÇDAŞ family. I really thank to The Ministry of  Youth and Sport, the  Governor  Mr.  Ahmet  ÇINAR,  the  member  of  the Parliament  Mr. İsmail KAŞDEMİR, the Special Provincial Administration, the Mayor of Gümüşçay, the Mayor of Karabiga.

                      Biga Archery Contest and Festival is organized with Traditional Turkish Archery Federation and

District of Biga. I present my endless thanks to Sami GENEL, the head of Federation and the chief of Kayseri

Mounted Archery Club, Metin ATEŞ , the assistant of  World Traditional Archery Federation , the  General

Secretary Ömer KOÇ and all clubs and sportsmen.

                     With the leadership of Biga District, Biga Archery Contest is being executed by the Principle of Biga Çiçeklidede Özel İdare Secondary School, Musa ÇETİN.

                   I Express my gratitude to the General Coordinator Musa ÇETİN and his assistant the manager of  District Sport Kemal Yasin YILMAZ,in charge of field Ramazan TASAR-the manager of Public Education Center, Ali YALÇINKAYA, Fatih ŞEMEY, the Special  Principle of District Hasan KAYA, in charge of gift Murat CEYLAN-District Agriculture Headmaster,, in charge of accomodation Tahsin ERGÜN, in charge of transportation  Faruk GİRGİN , in charge of Social Media Bora KAŞLI, District director of Education Erdal ASLAN, Mehmet DEMİR, Hüseyin BİLGİN, Murat EROL who are assigned in the district of Biga , and the people working with superhuman efforts behind the camera, the headman of the Çınarköprü Village(the host).

                   I present my thanks to the head of World Traditional Archery Federation Mr. Won, who also honoured us with his attendance.I thank to the Vice Chairman of Traditional Sports Section Federation Prof. Dr.  Ziya  Gökalp  CEYLAN, the  Deputy  Chief  of  Mounted  Archery Haluk KOŞAN, the veteran actor Cüneyt  ARKIN,  Cemal ÜNAL  supported  us  with all his team, Serdar KILIÇ, the  head  of Turkish  Music Society İrfan GÜRDAL,  Metin AKSOY and Adnan  MEHEL and the other club chiefs.

                   I express my gratitude to the valuable public of Biga that shared our excitement with greatenthusiasm, the precious press who reached us out to the world , photograph artists for their attendance and interests.

                   I thank to Hülya YILMAZ who supported us by compiling poems especially about archery. I also  thank, to Prof. Dr. Ahmet Atilla ŞENTÜRK.

                   I thank to everyone who worked hard in our organization and in the process of preparing the book.
